The university is wholly funded by the University Grants Commission. As per NIRF Ranking 2023, University of Hyderabad bagged 10th rank in the university category. On the historic Hyderabad-Bombay route, the University of Hyderabad campus covers 2,300 acres of land. University of Hyderabad infrastructure consists of several buildings for academic demands. It offers several courses at PG, and doctoral levels. The University of Hyderabad courses includes integrated M.Sc., integrated MA, MFA, MCA, M.Tech, and PhD to name a few. The admissions are done on the basis of entrance exams. University of Hyderabad admissions for the integrated PG programmes are done on the basis of CUET UG. The UoH MCA admissions are done through NIMCET, M.Tech done are done through GATE, MBA admissions are done through CAT, and for the rest of the PG courses, admissions are done on the basis of CUET PG. Some of the University of Hyderabad facilities include well-equipped laboratories, auditoriums, ICT classrooms, a gym, an ATM, a library, a mess, retail facilities, health centre and many more. In addition, the institution offers various schools and study centres on the main campus in Gachibowli.
